It all started when the conversation turned tense.

One man said,

*”All I remember is getting shot by your client. Almost killed. That’s what stuck with me.”*

Another responded sharply,

*”If that’s what you remember, then go get my paperwork!”*

 

 

The host tried to clarify,

*”No, no, I’m just saying… this is from the recordings, right?”*

But the guest cut him off,

*”Nah, this ain’t just the recordings. This is from the court trial. I got the full transcript.”*

Then it got deeper:

*”Yes, some of that is from recordings. But you have to understand which part was from the stand and which part was recorded. His whole defense? It was built off what I said in the recordings—not what I said under oath.”*

The host, again, tried to steer things calmly:

*”So you’re saying you didn’t name who shot you?”*

He snapped back,

*”I never said I knew who shot me. That’s in the paperwork. You can go look at the grand jury transcripts. I said I was dizzy, messed up, disoriented. I said anything at the time. I was panicking. I was in an ambulance, under meds, babbling nonsense. They accepted that.”*

But then came the court pressure.

*”When the trial came, they tried to force me into court. My lawyer said—God rest his soul—they want me to testify. I said I’m not going. I already told the grand jury I don’t know who shot me. They told me if I don’t show up, they’d hit me with six months for contempt.”*

So he went.

*”Me and my father went to court in Brockton. My nephew was there with his big fat lawyer. They told me, ‘If you see the person who shot you, point them out.’ I said, ‘I don’t see anybody.’ That’s it. I left.”*

Then he explained what happened behind the scenes:

*”There were ten other witnesses. White folks. People who saw everything on the highway. Because I didn’t say he shot me, the shooter only got 18 months—for firing a weapon near people. But if I had pointed him out, he would’ve done 15 years.”*

Then he made it clear:

*”I don’t care about what the internet says. I’m solid. 50 Cent, you’re messing with my nephew. You’re messing with me. And if anyone got a real issue, I’m not hard to find.”*
