Cause Of Death For 54-Year-Old ‘Boston Public’ Star Revealed

Fans were shocked to learn of the death of Actor Nicky Katt, and it wasn’t long before rumors started circulating. The medical examiner has now confirmed the cause of death.

54-year-old Nicky Katt died as a result of suicide. The specific method was hanging. This news comes from a statement from the family.

By the time authorities found the actor, they thought that he was probably dead for a number of days. There was no suicide note or explanation as to why he committed suicide at the scene.

His sister, Elise Ravenscroft released a statement, saying: “Today, with the heaviest of hearts, I share the devastating news of my brother’s passing. He died by suicide after battling with depression—one that he fought bravely but quietly.

“This is a pain no family should endure, yet far too many do. Mental illness is real, it is powerful, and it is often invisible. We hope that by sharing this, we can help break the silence and stigma that so often surrounds mental health struggles.”

Nicky Katt was a well-known actor, known for roles in a number of television shows and dramas. It included the 1993 movie, Dazed and Confused, as well as Boiler Room in 2000. He was also known for his part in the television series, Boston Public.

The law firm that represented him, Sloss Law has also confirmed his passing.

Katt appeared in a film in 2002 along with Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, and Catherine Keener, ‘Full Frontal’. He played an actor in the movie, who was playing the part of Adolf Hitler in a stage production entitled The Sound and the Fuhrer.

He was born in South Dakota and started his acting career when he was seven years old, appearing on different television series, including Quincy and CHiPs. He worked through the 80s, continuing to appear in various shows.

When he became an adult, he transitioned into more adult roles and did well.
